Opisthocomiformes (hoatzinfugler) er en solitær orden som kun består av hoatzinfamilien (Opisthocomidae). Ordenen inngår i den urangerte gruppen Gruae, men plasserigen regnes ikke som avklart. Hoatzinfamilien, på sin side, inkluderer kun én slekt med nålevende arter, nemlig Opisthocomus med den monotypiske arten hoatzin (O. hoazin).

Inndelingen følger i hovedsak Birds of the World og er i henhold til Winkler, Billerman & Lovette (2020).[1] Alle utdødde linjer er kanskje ikke tatt med. Plasseringen i Gruae regnes fortsatt som usikker.
