Liste over internerte på Guantánamo bay er satt sammen av opplysninger fra flere forskjellige lister. Det er en delvis liste over internerte ved Guantánamo bay interneringsleir («Guantanamo Bay detainment camp») på Cuba. Selv om det er publisert lister over internerte, så er det ikke klart om alle lister er korrekte. Lister har vært i omløp hvor navn har vært utelatt.[1]

Det er også internert illegale immigranter ved Guantánamo. Disse kommer vanligvis fra Cuba, Haiti, og Den dominikanske republikk.

Den 3. mars 2006 friga Department of Defence (DoD) en delvis liste over internerte, etter å ha fått en rettsordre om å frigi navnene.[2] DoD friga først en liste på 317 navn, men friga senere 558 navn 19. april 2006.[1] Samme liste ble publisert 20. april 2006 i annet format. DoD sin begrunnelse for å holde tilbake navn var at dette skjedde for å verne de internertes privatliv.[trenger referanse]

Navnene på lista var de som hadde blitt vurdert av et combatant status review tribunal (CSRT). Lista inneholdt ikke opplysninger om de flere hundre som hadde blitt holdt i fangeleiren og blitt frigitt før CSRT startet å vurdere sakene. Den inneholdt heller ikke opplysninger om de listede personene fortsatt var i fangeleiren. Lista inneholdt kun opplysninger om den internertes-ID nummer, navnet, og hans nasjonalitet. Den inneholdt ikke opplysninger om personene faktisk var identifisert som stridende («enemy combatants»), om de var frigitt eller tilbakeført til sine hjemland.

Den 15. mai 2006 friga DoD det de sier er en komplett liste over alle 759 tidligere og daværende internerte som hadde blitt holdt i militær forvaring i interneringsleiren. Dette skjedde etter et krav sendt under Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) av Associated Press.[3][4]

Flere av de som ble «repatriert» til Afghanistan, ble aldri løslatt, men kun forflyttet til én fløy i ett afghansk fengsel, der fengselsvokterne er soldater fra USA.

Den 17. juni 2013 publiserte Miami Herald en liste over 48 internerte som var merket for «indefinite detainment».[5][6] Denne lista ble også tilgjengelig etter et krav under FOIA. Det ble kjent 31. mai 2014 at USAs regjering hadde byttet fem av de innsatte (Abdul Haq Wasiq, Mullah Norullah Nori, Khairullah Khairkhwa, Mohammed Nabi og Mohammed Fazi) med en amerikansk soldat (sersjant Bowe Bergdahl) som USA har tiltalt for desertering.[7]

I november 2015 er det kjent at det fortsatt er 107 internerte ved Guantanamo.[trenger referanse]
