Utseende rediger
Middelsstore, avlangt ovale, halvmatt rødbrune bladbiller. Antennene er tynne og nesten så lange som kroppen. Pronotum er nærmest klokkeformet, fint punktert. Dekkvingene er noe hvelvede, grovt, ikke påfallende radvis punkterte.
Levevis rediger
Både larvene og de voksne (imago) er planteetere som lever på trær og busker i skog.
Utbredelse rediger
Slekten er utbredt i Mellom- og Sør-Amerika, med særlig mange arter i Brasil.
