Twenty One Pilots

Twenty One Pilots (stilisert som TWENTY ONE PILOTS, TØP eller twenty | one | pilots) er en amerikansk musikkduo fra Columbus i Ohio. Bandet ble dannet i 2009 av Tyler Joseph sammen med Nick Thomas og Chris Salih. For tiden[når?] består ensemblet av vokalist og keyboardist Tyler Joseph og trommeslager Josh Dun. Duoen ble kjent i midten av 2010-årene, etter flere år med turnering og uavhengige utgivelser.

De har gitt ut fem album mellom 2009 og 2018. De debuterte med albumet twenty one pilots, og ga to år senere ut Regional at Best. I 2012 fikk de kontrakt med plateselskapet Fueled by Ramen. De ga ut Vessel i 2013 og fikk gjennomslag i 2015 med albumet Blurryface, som bragte singlene «Stressed out» og «Ride». Med singelen «Heathens», utgitt som en del av lydsporet til filmen Suicide Squad, ble gruppen det første alternative bandet til å ha to topp-ti-singler i USA. 5. oktober 2018 ga de ut et nytt album kalt Trench.[1]
