The Winans
The Winans er en amerikansk gospelkvartett fra Detroit, Michigan, som har vært aktiv siden 1980. Gruppen besto av brødrene Marvin, Carvin, Michael og Ronald Winans. Sistnevnte døde i 2005. Brødrene har også seks andre søsken, og er sammen med foreldrene kjent som "The Winans Family".

Musikalsk karriere rediger
Brødrene vokste opp i Detroit der de ble oppdaget av Andrae Crouch, som skaffet dem kontrakt hos Light Records. Deres første plate, Introducing The Winans ble produsert i 1981. Stilen deres ble lagt merke til utenfor gospel-miljøet, og de fikk sendetid på R&B-radio. Deres siste innspilling var i 1995, men de har senere vært med i forskjellige prosjekter med hele Winans-familien.
