Tehuantepecer

Tehuantepecer er en kraftig vind gjennom Chivelapasset i Mexico. Den har opprinnelse i Campechebukta som en nordlig vind som krysser eidet og blåser gjennom passet mellom fjellene i Mexico og Guatemala. Vinden blir dannet av et høytrykk over Sierra Madre. Vinden når 20–40 knop og stundom 100 knop.
