Dette albumet er det første der samtlige originalmedlemmer medvirker siden Dynasty i 1979 (Peter Criss ble kreditert, men spilte ikke på albumet Unmasked i 1980). Allikevel er det kun på sangen «Into the Void» samtlige i bandet spiller instrumenter.

Sangen «You Wanted the Best» er den eneste Kiss-sangen der alle de fire originalmedlemmene er kreditert som vokalister. Både den tidligere gitaristen i bandet, Bruce Kulick, og den fremtidige gitaristen Tommy Thayer bidrar med gitar på albumet.

I forbindelse med gjenforeningsturneen ble det utgitt en «Limited Edition»-versjon av albumet med en bonus-låt, «In Your Face», samt en bonus-CD med konsertopptak.
