Norsk sosialantropologi

Norsk sosialantropologi er en nasjonal sosialantropologisk fagretning. Den har vært faglig sett influert av den intellektuelle arven fra «the British school» (Adam Kuper 1996) særlig representert av Fredrik Barth og hans teoretiske retning, prosessanalysen (Barth 1959a, 1959b, 1961, 1966) som ble utformet eksplisitt for å ta avstand fra strukturfunksjonalismen.
