Michael Loewe (født 2. november 1922 i Oxford i Storbritannia) er en britisk sinolog og medredaktør og -forfatter av The Cambridge History of Ancient China (ISBN 9780521470308), et ledsagende bind som dekker perioden forut for de som behandles i The Cambridge History of China.

Michael Loewe studerte ved The Perse School i Cambridge og deretter Magdalen College i Oxford. Han virket som specialist officer i den britiske regjerings Communications’ Headquarters fra 1942 til 1956, og deretter som dosent i Øst-Asias historie ved University of London. Han ble tilknyttet University of Cambridge i 1963, og ble pensjonist i 1990.
