English: Warsaw insurgents executed by German troops. Photo taken on 23 September 1944. This photo comes from so-called “Mensebach Album”. After the end of war this album was found and taken over by the Polish authorities. It is now in the archives of the Western Institiue (“Instytut Zachodni”) in Poznań.

Polski: Zamordowani powstańcy na podwórzu jednego z domów Warszawy. Zdjęcie wykonano 23 września 1944. Zdjęcie pochodzi z tzw. albumu Mensebacha, przechowywanego obecnie w Instytucie Zachodnim w Poznaniu.
