Date/place: May 1928, Bergen/Norway

Subject: In connection to the National fair in Bergen the city made arrangements for a small Sami village in the nearby Kanadaskogen (lit. Canadian forest) so that locals and turists could get an authentic feeling of the northern natives. A popular sight for some time, but the reindeer did not take well on the food, and both people and animals suffered.
