Français : Sur le pont du Buckau à rotors Flettner, tiré du NACA TM 367[1]. À propos de l'expérience du Buckau, J. Ackeret écrit : "L'ancien voilier "Buckau" est désormais équipé de deux rotors et a effectué ses premiers voyages d'essais. Pour autant que nous puissions encore le dire, les résultats en soufflerie n'ont pas été contredits."[2]. L. Prandtl lui-même indique dans son NACA TM 367 que "Le test de tempête a depuis eu lieu avec de très bons résultats et le navire a commencé ses voyages commerciaux."
