Beskrivelse

Beskrivelse P. Hodge, the crack British hurdler and cross country runner, is shown above making a perfect leap over the hurdles while carrying a tray and bottle. Proof of the perfect form attained by Hodge is given in the above photo for unless he is perfect in poise and balance when clearing the hurdle, the tray and bottle would be thrown from his hand. There is little loss of speed when making the leap as Hodge increases his momentum just before jumping for the hurdle.
