Christopher Báthory

Christoph Báthory (von Somlyo, ungarsk: Báthory Kristóf; født 1530i Șimleu Silvaniei; begravet 27. mai 1581 in Weissenburg) var vojvod av Siebenbürgen og bror av den polske konge Stefan Báthory.

I 1557 fikk han av dronning Isabella i oppdrag å oppsøke den franske konge i Frankrike. Årene rundt 1565 stod Christoph Báthory i Johann Sigismund Zápolyas tjeneste og vant en betydelig seier mot tyrkiske styrker ved Khust. Mellom 1571 og 1576 var Christoph Báthory kaptein for festningen Wardein (Várad). Da hans bror Stefan Báthory ble polsk konge i 1576,. ble Christoph vojvod av Siebenbürgen.
