Borussia Mönchengladbach, ofte bare kalt Gladbach, er en tysk fotballklubb fra byen Mönchengladbach som ligger i delstaten Nordrhein-Westfalen. Klubbens historie startet med en uformell idrettsforening unge gutter fra bydelen Eicken startet i 1899. Klubben ble formelt stiftet 1. august 1900, og deltok samme år i Rheinisch-Westfälischen Spielverband, den lokale serien.
Borussia Mönchengladbach ble stifet i 1900 og fikk tidlig landslagsspillere på laget. «Borussia» er en latinisert form for Preussen, og er ofte brukt for klubber basert i området som tidligere var en del av Kongeriket Preussen.
Borussia Mönchengladbach hadde sin storhetstid på 1970 da de var ett av Europas beste klubblag. I denne perioden vant de UEFA-cupen to ganger, Bundesliga fem ganger, DFB-cup én gang og kom til finalen i Mesterligaen i 1977. Der tapte de mot Liverpool.
