Balaputradeva eller Balaputra var maharaja av Srivijaya i det 9. århundre så vel som tidligere overhodet på dynastiet Sailendra.[1] Han var den yngste sønnen av den forutgående Sailendran maharaja, Samaratunga, gjennom giftermål med Dewi Tara som igjen var datteren av en annen maharaja, Dharmasetu av Srivijaya.[2][3]
