John C.H. Wu
John Ching Hsiung Wu (kinesisk: 吳經熊, pinyin: Wu Jingxiong; født 1899 i Ningbo i provinsen Zhejiang i Kina, død 1986) var en kinesisk jurist, forfatter, diplomat og katolsk intellektuell. Han var en av forfatterne av Republikken Kinas konstitusjon og skrev en rekke verker på kinesisk, engelsk, fransk og tysk om religiøse emner.

I 1916 begynte han sine studier begynte han sine studier ved Shanghais universitet der han blant annet ble kjent med poeten Xu Zhimo. I 1920 begynte han å studere jus ved University of Michigan, noe som la grunnlaget for en rik karriere som jurist.[trenger referanse] I 1933 ble han en av opphavsmennene til Republikken Kinas konstisjon. Han er også kjent for sin korrespondanse med den amerikanske dommeren Oliver Wendell Holmes jr.
Wu var opprinnelig metodist, men konverterte til katolisismen i 1937 etter at han hadde lest Thérèse av Lisieux' selvbiografi.[trenger referanse] Wus religiøse interesse tok med tiden over en stor del av hans engasjement og i 1940-årene var han en tid Republikken Kinas minister til Den hellige stol.
I 1950-årene underviste han i jus ved en rekke amerikanske læresteder, men vendte tilbake i 1966 til Taiwan.
