Operalia, The World Opera Competition
Operalia, The World Opera Competition er en internasjonal konkurranse for operasangere. Konkurransen er stiftet og ledes av den spanske operasangeren Plácido Domingo. Formålet med konkurransen er å oppdage unge, lovende operasangere og hjelpe dem i gang med en sangkarriere:
«My purpose in Operalia is to help identify not only the best voices, but also to discover those singers whose personalities, characters and powers of interpretation show that they have the potential to become complete artists. Individuals such as these become tomorrow’s stars.»

Konkurransen avholdes i en ny by hvert år. Deltagerne må være mellom 18 og 32 år.[1]
I 2015 vant norske Lise Davidsen førsteprisen i klassen for kvinner. Hun vant også the Birgit Nilsson Prize og publikumsprisen the Rolex Audience Prize.[2]
