whole: The poster is double-sided. Side 1: the two images are positioned in the upper third and lower third. The title and text are separate and placed in the central third and along the bottom edge, in black and in red. All set against a white background. Side 2: the image occupies the majority, partially set against a blue background. The title is integrated and placed in the upper quarter, in white. The text is separate and located in the lower quarter, in brown cursive script and in black. All set against a white background. image 1: the upper image is of a stylised bird's head, wearing a large, plumed hat. The lower image is of a wooden first aid box, slightly open to reveal its contents. image 2: a depiction of six tools, including a hammer, chisel and spanner, standing vertically and lined up in a row. Each tool wears a German Iron Cross pinned to its front. The shadow of a German soldier, with his right arm raised in a Hitler salute, is placed in the lower right. text 1: g.r. morris The medieval quack wore this head-dress to frighten infections away.
