English: Omar al-Mukhtar's Signature (seal). Omar Al-Mukhtar Muhammad Ibn Farhat Bredan (Arabic: عُمَرْ الْمُخْتَارْ مُحَمَّدْ بِنْ فَرْحَاتْ بُرَيْدَانْ‎; 20 August 1861 – 16 September 1931), was the Resistance leader against the Italian Colonization of Libya, a prominent figure of the Senussi Movement, and he is Considered the National Hero of Libya and a symbol of Resistance in the Arab World.
