So the shepherd laid the flower on the table, andwent to work and filled his pockets with the gold anddiamonds. When he had as much as he conld carry,the kobold said again, Dont forget the best! ThatI wont, the shepherd thought to himself, and tookmore gold and the biggest diamonds he could find, andfilled his hat, so that he could scarcely stagger underthe load.
