Liberator Mark I, AM922, approaching the Northern Irish coast to land at Aldergrove, County Antrim, after an eight-hour ferry flight across the Atlantic. This aircraft served in various roles with the RAF, flying with No. 120 Squadron RAF, the Special Duties Flight, No. 1425 (Communication) Flight and finally with No. 511 Squadron RAF.
