Boost

Boost er et sett på omkring 80 biblioteker for programmeringsspråket C++. Bibliotekene støtter oppgaver og strukturer som lineær algebra, pseudo-slumptallsgenerator, multitråder, bildeprosessering, regulære uttrykk og enhetstesting.

De fleste bibliotekene er lisensiert under Boost Software License, som tillater dem å brukes med både frie og proprietære programvareprosjekter. Mange av Boost's grunnleggere er i standardkomitéen til C++, og flere av bibliotekene har blitt inkorporerte i både C++ teknisk rapport 1 og i C++ 11 standarden.[7]
