Virtual Boy er en spillkonsoll fra Nintendo, utgitt bare i Japan og USA i 1995.[1][2] Virtual Boy ble lansert med spillene Teleroboxer, Mario's Tennis og Red Alarm.[3] Konsollen ble utgitt mens Game Boy var i salg, men før Game Boy Color. Totalt ble det produsert 22 forskjellige spill til konsollen, 19 av dem i Japan og 14 i Nord-Amerika.[4] Konsollen solgte dårlig og gikk ut av produksjon etter kun ett år på markedet.[5] Den solgte 770 00 enheter.[6]
