Scott County er et fylke i den amerikanske delstaten Indiana.[1] I 2010 var befolkningen på 24 181 innbyggere.[2] Fylkessete er Scottsburg.[3]

Historie rediger
Scott County ble opprettet i 1820 fra deler av fylkene: Clark, Jackson, Jefferson, Jennings og Washington. Det fikk sitt navn etter general Charles Scott som var guvernør i Kentucky fra 1808 til 1812.

Ifølge folketellingen i 2010 har fylket et totalt areal på 499,2 km², hvorav 493.1 km2 (eller 98,78%) er land og 6,1 km² (eller 1,22%) er vann.[4]
