Kjemiåret

Kjemiåret (IYC 2011) vil belyse kjemiens betydning for menneskeheten. Markeringer i løpet av året 2011 vil koordineres av IUPAC, International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry og UNESCO, United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization.

Arrangementer

IYC2011 arrangementer organiseres av internasjonale kjemi-organisasjoner som American Chemical Society, Royal Society of Chemistry, Brazilian Chemical Society, Society of Chemical Industry og Royal Australian Chemical Institute, og av regionale kjemiforeninger som European Association for Chemical and Molecular Sciences og Federation of African Societies of Chemistry.
