Translation

[title] The synod of the h[oly] fathers

[1] I believe in one god, the father the almighty, maker of heaven and earth,
[2] of all that is, seen and unseen. And in one lord, jesus christ, the son
[3] the only son of god, begotten of the father for all ages.
[4] light from light, true god from true god, begotten, not
[5] made, of one being [omo-ousios] with the father, through him all things were made. For us the
[6] human beings and for our salvation he came down from the heavens
[7] and he became incarnate out of the holy spirit and the virgin mary and man was
[8] made. He was crucified for our sake under pontius pilate.
[9] And he suffered death, and was buried...
