Beskrivelse
English: Bruno Liljefors’ paintings were based on a profound knowledge of nature – of its animals and every minute detail about their habitats. The undergrowth in A Fox Family matches the fox kits’ stage of development. Sometime in early summer, they are mature enough to eat solid food instead of suckling. This is the time when cow-parsley comes into flower, whereas the dandelions have gone to seed.
