Brioche

Brioche er et lite frokostbrød eller en bolle bakt på hvete med melk, smør, egg og sukker. Brioche kan nytes som frokost, andre frokost, brunch, lunch, middag og kvelds eller utenom måltidene.

Cougnou er en spesiell type brioche som tradisjonelt bakes omkring jul med en form som skal ligne på Jesusbarnet svøpt i lendeklær.^[1]
