Aaliyah Dana Haughton (født 16. januar 1979 i Brooklyn i New York i USA, død 25. august 2001 på Bahamas) var en amerikansk R&B-sangerinne og skuespiller. Hun omkom i en flyulykke i Bahamas, da det overlastede flyet hun var i styrtet ikke lenge etter take off. Alle ni om bord ble drept.

Aaliyahs debutalbum var Age Ain't Nothing But A Number (1994) og ble produsert av R. Kelly. De to giftet seg i august samme år, etter at R. Kelly skal ha bestukket en statsansatt for å få Aaliya et falskt identitetskort.[21] Ekteskapet ble dog annullert innen utgangen av året.

På oppfølgeren One in a Million (1996) samarbeidet Aaliyah med blant andre Timbaland. Timbaland produserte sangen «If Your Girl Only Knew», som ble hans første ordentlige store hit. Samarbeidet mellom Aaliyah og Timbaland fortsatte frem til hennes død.
